Roblox Bedwars: Void Knight Complete Guide
The Void Knight is one of the most unique and powerful kits in Roblox Bedwars. Added on December 13, 2024, it completely replaces the normal gear progression with a custom upgrade system called Noctium Gear — and it's the only kit in the game that physically transforms as it upgrades.
Overview
- Class: Fighter
- Cost: 399 Robux / 10,000 BedCoins
- Unlock methods: Direct purchase, Lucky Crate drop, or gifted by another player
- Base HP: 90 (instead of the standard 100)
- Key feature: Does NOT use normal forge weapons or shop armor — uses exclusive Noctium Blade and Noctium Armor instead
The Noctium Gear System
This is what makes Void Knight unique. Instead of buying gear at the shop, you upgrade your Noctium Blade and Armor using two progression bars:

Important rule: Both bars must fill each portion before the gear upgrades. You can't advance one bar past a portion until the other catches up.
When a bar needs filling, the game will privately message you:
- "THE VOID CALLS TO YOU... CONSUME IRON/EMERALDS TO GROW STRONGER."
- "THE VOID CALLS TO YOU... KILL ENEMIES TO GROW STRONGER."

Tier III unlocks Void Decay passive. Higher tiers unlock additional abilities.
All 4 Abilities
1. Consume (Passive — Always Active)
The Void Knight consumes Iron and Emeralds from his inventory to fill the purple noctium bar. Resources consumed this way do not count as resources given to enemies when you die — a huge advantage over normal play.
2. Void Decay (Unlocked at Tier III)
A passive ability that triggers on hits. Attacks apply a decay effect to enemies, dealing ongoing damage after the initial strike. Makes the Void Knight significantly deadlier in sustained fights once upgraded.
3. Void Shield (Unlocked at Tier IV)
Provides a temporary shield that absorbs incoming damage. Essential for surviving the team fights that happen at mid-game and late-game stages.
4. Void Ascension (Unlocked at Max Tier)
The Void Knight's ultimate ability. Dramatically enhances combat power for a short window — the defining moment ability that can turn 1vX fights in your favor.
Key Passive Benefits
- No gear drops on death — Your Noctium Blade and Armor are never dropped, only lost if the game ends
- No upgrade progress lost on death — You keep all tier progress when you respawn
- Armor negates armor penetration — Immune to armor-piercing damage types
- 75%+ fall damage reduction — Makes gap-jumping and void plays much safer
Upgrade Priority Strategy
Early Game (Tier I → II)
- Collect Iron from your island generator aggressively
- Pick fights as soon as possible to fill the red bar
- Don't waste time in the shop — you can't buy swords or armor anyway
- Target: Reach Tier II before the first full mid rush
Mid Game (Tier II → III)
- Prioritize 160 Iron consumption — this is the biggest resource gate
- Keep fighting: the 200 hit requirement forces you to stay aggressive
- At Tier III, Void Decay makes you significantly more dangerous
- Start pushing enemy islands once Tier III is reached
Late Game (Tier III → IV+)
- Switch to Emerald consumption — farm mid island
- Void Shield and Void Ascension unlock makes you nearly unkillable in 1v1s
- A fully upgraded Void Knight is one of the highest-damage outputs in the game
Pro Tips
- Start consuming Iron immediately — don't hoard it, the upgrade progression is your priority
- Pick early fights — even losing fights still fill your red bar from the damage you deal
- Never buy from the shop — you can't use shop swords or armor, so save your resources for noctium upgrades
- Use the fall damage reduction — you can take risks other kits can't afford, including aggressive void plays on enemies
- Target isolated enemies first — your Tier I stats are lower than a well-geared player; fight on favorable terms early
- Don't ignore bed defense — Void Knight's tankiness is a late-game advantage; protect your bed so you get there
Counters to Void Knight
- Rush it early at Tier I — Before upgrading, 22 damage and 90 HP is below average
- Armor penetration abilities don't work on Noctium Armor — use raw damage instead
- Archer kits can kite a Void Knight effectively at low tiers
- TNT rushes on its bed deny it from reaching high tiers
