Paradox Clan Tier List (2026) — Best Clans Ranked
Clans in Paradox aren't just cosmetic — they directly influence your combat stats, Shikai unlock speed, Paradox Meter gain rate, and even your trading bonuses. Picking the right clan at the start (or rerolling into one) can dramatically change your experience.
This tier list is based on current meta, community feedback, and verified in-game stat testing.
How Clans Work in Paradox
When you create a character, you're randomly assigned a clan. Each clan comes with:
- Passive stat bonuses (HP, speed, damage, Paradox Meter gain)
- Shikai affinity — some clans unlock certain Shikai types faster
- Clan-exclusive cosmetics — crests, auras, and title tags
- Trade multiplier — rare clans grant small bonuses when trading artifacts
You can reroll your clan using Clan Scrolls, which drop from Rift Zones or can be purchased in the in-game shop.
S Tier — God-Level Clans
🔴 Crimson Void
- Drop Rate: 0.5%
- Bonuses: +25% Paradox Meter gain, +15% Shikai damage, exclusive Crimson Aura cosmetic
- Shikai Affinity: Fire & Dark types
- Notes: The single best clan in the game. Crimson Void players dominate Rift Zone PvP and level their Shikai faster than any other clan. If you roll this, never reroll.
🟣 Eternal Rift
- Drop Rate: 1%
- Bonuses: +20% Paradox Meter gain, +10% artifact drop rate in Rift Zones
- Shikai Affinity: Void & Time types
- Notes: The top choice for farmers and traders. The artifact drop rate bonus alone makes this insanely valuable for grinding elite-tier items.
A Tier — Excellent Clans
🔵 Chrono Blade
- Drop Rate: 3%
- Bonuses: +15% attack speed, +10% Shikai unlock speed
- Shikai Affinity: Lightning & Time types
- Notes: Extremely strong in PvP. The attack speed bonus stacks with Shikai abilities, making Chrono Blade players feel noticeably faster in combat.
🟡 Aurelius
- Drop Rate: 4%
- Bonuses: +12% trading value bonus, +8% Paradox Meter gain
- Shikai Affinity: Light & Wind types
- Notes: The trader's clan. If you focus on the economy side of Paradox, Aurelius gives you a consistent edge in every deal.
⚪ Ironforge
- Drop Rate: 5%
- Bonuses: +20% HP, +10% defense
- Shikai Affinity: Earth & Metal types
- Notes: Built for tanking Rift Zone bosses. Ironforge players survive longer and can complete more boss runs per session.
B Tier — Solid Clans
🟢 Verdant
- Drop Rate: 8%
- Bonuses: +10% HP regen, +5% Shikai unlock speed
- Shikai Affinity: Nature & Water types
- Notes: Great sustain in solo Rift Zone runs. Not flashy but very reliable.
🔵 Stormcrest
- Drop Rate: 10%
- Bonuses: +12% Shikai damage, -5% stamina cost
- Shikai Affinity: Lightning & Wind types
- Notes: A good all-rounder. Stormcrest works in both PvP and PvE content without any major weaknesses.
🟠 Ashborn
- Drop Rate: 9%
- Bonuses: +8% fire damage, +5% Paradox Meter gain
- Shikai Affinity: Fire types only
- Notes: Narrow affinity hurts it. If you roll a Fire-type Shikai though, Ashborn becomes a solid B+.
C Tier — Average Clans
⚫ Shadowmere
- Drop Rate: 15%
- Bonuses: +5% stealth speed, +3% drop rate
- Shikai Affinity: Dark types
- Notes: The bonuses are too small to matter at endgame. Fine for beginners, but reroll when you can.
⚪ Coldwater
- Drop Rate: 18%
- Bonuses: +5% Water Shikai damage
- Shikai Affinity: Water types only
- Notes: Extremely niche. Only relevant if you specifically want a Water Shikai build, which isn't meta right now.
D Tier — Reroll Immediately
⚫ Common
- Drop Rate: 26.5%+
- Bonuses: None
- Notes: The default clan. No bonuses, no affinity. Use your first Clan Scroll the moment you get one.
How to Get Clan Scrolls
- Rift Zone drops — Clan Scrolls have a ~5% chance from Rift Zone boss chests
- Daily login rewards — Every 7 days of consecutive login rewards a Clan Scroll
- In-game shop — Available for Robux directly
- Era Event rewards — Some events include Clan Scrolls in their milestone rewards
Rerolling Strategy
- Don't reroll until you have at least 3 Clan Scrolls saved (to avoid getting stuck worse)
- Target S or A tier. If you land A tier on a budget, stop and grind toward S later
- Crimson Void and Eternal Rift are the only S-tier clans — accept nothing less if you're pushing competitive play
Tier placements based on community testing and current patch. May shift with future updates.
