The Crafting Economy Explained
The Forge operates on a dual economy: raw materials and finished weapons. Understanding both is key to profitable trading.
Material Tiers
- Iron & Steel — Common, low value but essential for early crafting
- Obsidian — Mid-tier, consistent demand
- Dragonite — High-value material, rare drop
- Void Steel — Top-tier crafting material, extremely rare
- Celestial Ore — Event-exclusive, highest material value
Weapon Tiers
- Iron Weapons — Low value, starter gear
- Obsidian Blades — Mid-tier, decent trading value
- Dragonite Swords — High demand, strong trade value
- Void Edge — One of the most sought-after weapons
- Celestial Hammer — Event-only, peak rarity
Most Valuable Items
- Celestial Hammer (+5 Enchant)
- Void Edge (Max Sharpness)
- Dragonite Greatsword
- Full Celestial Ore Stack
- Void Steel Ingot x10
Crafting vs. Trading
Should you craft or trade raw materials? Generally:
- Craft if you have enough materials for a top-tier weapon — finished weapons sell faster.
- Trade raw if you only have partial stacks — bulk material trades are common and liquid.
Trading Tips
- Enchantments can add 50–200% value to a weapon. Never overlook enchant levels.
- Void Steel is the most consistently liquid item in The Forge economy — good for quick trades.
- Event weapons lose value fast after the event meta shifts. Trade them within 2 weeks.
Pro Tip: 10x Celestial Ore = 1 Void Edge in most fair trades. Use this as your benchmark.
